Shoaib emotionally shared, “Deepika stopped breastfeeding Ruhaan, and that led to complications. Her pain increased rapidly, resulting in fever, and the fever turned into a full-blown flu. Her condition became critical for a few days.”

Despite Shoaib and his family’s efforts to manage her condition at home—applying cold compresses and administering medication—the fever persisted. Eventually, they decided to admit Deepika to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, where she is now undergoing treatment.
During the hospitalization, doctors were unable to conduct tumor-related scans immediately, as their first priority was to stabilize her general health. “We couldn’t do the scans related to the tumor right away because she had to recover from the flu first,” Shoaib explained.
Emotional Strength from the Family
Amid this health scare, Shoaib highlighted the emotional resilience of their young son Ruhaan. He expressed gratitude towards God and shared how their baby boy has adapted surprisingly well during his mother’s absence and health issues.
“Ruhaan used to breastfeed several times a day, but he has stopped asking for it frequently. Though he cries occasionally, he has been manageable and mature beyond his age,” Shoaib said with pride and emotion.
Diagnosis Confirmed: Liver Tumor and Surgery Planned
After initial recovery from the flu, doctors conducted the necessary tests to assess the tumor in Deepika’s liver. The results confirmed the presence of the growth in her left liver lobe, and medical professionals have advised surgical removal as soon as possible.
Shoaib informed fans that the surgery is likely to be conducted by next week, once all pre-surgical evaluations are complete. “The tumor needs to be removed quickly. We are now waiting for the final test reports. The surgery will happen next week,” he added.
