Eligible candidates can begin applying online from July 1 to July 31 via the official portal Cghgcd.gov.in. This massive recruitment aims to strengthen the state’s emergency response capabilities and fire safety infrastructure.

Wireless Operator (Contractual) – 4 posts
This diverse pool of roles reflects the department’s strategic plan to reinforce its workforce across urban and rural deployment zones.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc.) or Engineering (BE/B.Tech)
Role: Leading fire teams, managing operations, and handling equipment
Education: High school completion (12th pass)
Requirement: Valid driving license (commercial)
Role: Operating firefighting vehicles and supporting operational teams
Education: 12th pass
Role: Frontline firefighting, rescue operations, and emergency response
Education: 12th pass
Role: Inventory management and supply coordination
Education: 12th pass + ITI diploma in Diesel Mechanic trade
Role: Equipment maintenance and vehicle repair
Education: 12th pass + trained Municipal Guard
Role: Night-time operations, call handling, and on-ground coordination
Education: 12th pass + trained in wireless communications + Municipal Guard
Role: Managing radio communications and emergency dispatch
Applicants must be between 18–28 years
Relaxation: Up to 5 years for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC)

All candidates are required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) to assess fitness levels:
Estimated Physical Standards:
Fireman & Driver roles: 1600-meter run in 6 minutes, 10 pull-ups, long jump of 10 feet
Station Officer & Operator roles: 2400-meter run in 12 minutes, bar hang, obstacle navigation
Mechanic & Store Keeper: Moderate physical tasks to handle equipment and stores
Successful PET and PST performances will qualify applicants for the written examination, which includes sections on general knowledge, reasoning, mathematics, and domain-specific subjects. Candidates must score above the cut-off marks (category wise), and eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the final merit list based on combined PET, written exam, and document verification.
