The campaign is designed to showcase the Indian Army’s valour during Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the March 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir.

The BJP plans to use the Yatra as a platform to highlight military success, counter political criticism regarding foreign mediation in India-Pakistan tensions, and consolidate nationalist sentiments in the lead-up to the Bihar Assembly elections.

Operation Sindoor was India’s strategic military response to cross-border terror activities, particularly after the March 22 terrorist ambush on Indian security forces in Pahalgam.
