CSIR UGC NET 2024 Exam Update: NTA Cancels Shift-1 Exam in Guwahati, New Date Announced

KKN Gurugram Desk | The CSIR UGC NET December Session 2024 exam began on February 28, 2025, and is scheduled to continue until March 3, 2025. However, a major update has emerged regarding the examination. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has canceled the Shift-1 exam conducted at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, on February 28 due to technical issues.

It is important to note that only Shift-1 has been canceled, which included Earth Sciences and Mathematical Sciences.

New Exam Date Announced for CSIR UGC NET 2024

NTA has already released the revised schedule for the canceled examination. According to the new schedule, the CSIR UGC NET 2024 Shift-1 exam will now be conducted on March 2, 2025.

Exam Timing:

  • Date: March 2, 2025
  • Shift: Morning (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
  • Duration: 3 hours

The examination center has also been changed. Candidates must carefully check their new exam center details on their revised admit card.

Revised Admit Cards Released for CSIR UGC NET 2024

Candidates appearing for the rescheduled exam must download their new admit cards from the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in. Since the exam center has been updated, candidates should carefully verify their details before heading to the exam venue.
