This development comes as part of the party’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its organizational structure and increase its presence in the state. The announcement, made by the party’s national general secretary, KC Venugopal, includes several fresh faces and aims to rejuvenate the party’s leadership in the region.

  • Appointment of New Presidents: In a significant move, the Congress party has appointed new district presidents for several districts in Bihar. These appointments are expected to energize the party at the grassroots level and improve its organizational reach.

  • Shashi Ranjan Appointed as Patna Town President: One of the notable appointments includes Shashi Ranjan as the president of Patna Town. Ranjan, a long-time and youth leader in the party, brings experience and new energy to the role. Along with him, Ranjit Kumar has been appointed as the executive president for Patna Town.

  • Other Key District Appointments: Other significant appointments include Sumit Kumar Sunny as the president of Patna Rural-I, Uday Kumar Chandra Vashni as the executive president, Gurjeet Singh as the president of Patna Rural-II, and Neetu Nishad as the executive president.
