KKN Gurugram Desk | The Indian National Congress (INC) has recently made significant organizational changes by appointing new district presidents in 40 organizational districts across Bihar. This development comes as part of the party’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its organizational structure and increase its presence in the state. The announcement, made by the party’s national general secretary, KC Venugopal, includes several fresh faces and aims to rejuvenate the party’s leadership in the region.

Key Highlights of the New Appointments

  • Appointment of New Presidents: In a significant move, the Congress party has appointed new district presidents for several districts in Bihar. These appointments are expected to energize the party at the grassroots level and improve its organizational reach.

  • Shashi Ranjan Appointed as Patna Town President: One of the notable appointments includes Shashi Ranjan as the president of Patna Town. Ranjan, a long-time and youth leader in the party, brings experience and new energy to the role. Along with him, Ranjit Kumar has been appointed as the executive president for Patna Town.

  • Other Key District Appointments: Other significant appointments include Sumit Kumar Sunny as the president of Patna Rural-I, Uday Kumar Chandra Vashni as the executive president, Gurjeet Singh as the president of Patna Rural-II, and Neetu Nishad as the executive president. Organizational Changes in Major Districts

  • Patna Districts: The Congress party has made several leadership changes in Patna, which is crucial for the party’s success in Bihar. In Patna Town, Shashi Ranjan has been appointed president, bringing his experience as a longstanding party leader. For Patna Rural-I and Rural-II, Sumit Kumar Sunny and Gurjeet Singh have been appointed as presidents, with Uday Kumar Chandra Vashni and Neetu Nishad named as executive presidents respectively.

  • Muzaffarpur: Arvind Mukul has been appointed as the president of the Muzaffarpur Congress. His appointment is seen as a step toward strengthening the party’s influence in this significant region.

  • Bhagalpur: Parvez Jamal has been selected as the president of Bhagalpur. This appointment is a strategic move aimed at boosting the party’s presence in the region.

  • Gaya: The new president for Gaya is Santosh Kumar, with two new executive presidents, Shahabuddin Rahmani and Uday Manjhi, who will work together to improve the party’s outreach.

  3. Kishanganj: Imam Ali will serve as the president, while Shahibul Akhtar has been named the executive president for Kishanganj.

  4. Madhubani: Subodh Mandal has been appointed as the president, and in Purnia, Vijayendra Yadav has been given the leadership role.

  5. Saharsa: Mukesh Jha has been appointed as the district president, while Tarini Rishi Dev will serve as the executive president.

  6. Samastipur: Abu Tamim has been appointed as the district president, while in Saran, Bachchan Prasad Viru will take charge.

  • Siwan: Sushil Kumar Yadav has been appointed as the president of Siwan, marking a significant leadership change in the district.
