Upcoming 25th Installment: Expected Disbursement by Mid-June 2025

The 25th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana is anticipated to be disbursed around June 15, 2025. Previously, the 24th installment was released on May 15, 2025, amounting to ₹1,551.89 crore distributed among 1.27 crore beneficiaries. The shift from the earlier disbursement date of the 10th to mid-month was implemented in April 2025 to streamline the process.

Scheme Overview

Launch Date: March 5, 2023
Objective: To provide financial assistance to women, enhancing their economic independence and improving health and nutrition levels.
Monthly Assistance: ₹1,250
Beneficiaries: Married, widowed, divorced, or abandoned women aged 21-60 years, residing in Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Ladli Behna Yojana, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.

  • Age: Between 21 and 60 years as of January 1 of the application year.

  • Marital Status: Married, widowed, divorced, or abandoned.

  • Income: Annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.

  • Tax Status: Neither the applicant nor any family member should be an income taxpayer.

  • Employment: No family member should be employed in a regular/permanent/contractual position in any government department or receiving a government pension.

Exclusions

Applicants will be deemed ineligible if:

  • They or any family member own a four-wheeler (excluding tractors).

  • The family possesses more than 5 acres of agricultural land.

  • Any family member holds a position as a current or former Member of Parliament (MP) or Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).

  • Any family member is a chairperson, director, or member of a government board, corporation, or local body (excluding Panch and Up-Sarpanch).

Application Process

Offline Application:

  1. Visit the nearest Gram Panchayat, Ward Office, or designated camp site.

  2. Obtain and fill out the application form.

  3. Submit the completed form along with necessary documents.

Required Documents:

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Samagra ID (Family and Individual)

  • Bank account details linked with Aadhaar

  • Passport-sized photograph

  • Registered mobile number

Checking Application and Payment Status

Beneficiaries can verify their application and payment status by:

  1. Visiting the official website: 

  2. Clicking on “आवेदन एवं भुगतान की स्थिति” (Application and Payment Status).

  3. Entering the application number or Samagra ID.

  4. Submitting the captcha code and verifying the OTP sent to the registered mobile number.

  5. Viewing the current status of the application and payments.

Future Prospects: Increase in Monthly Assistance

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has reiterated the government’s commitment to increasing the monthly assistance under the Ladli Behna Yojana to ₹3,000 over the next five years. This enhancement aims to further empower women and improve their quality of life.
