CBSE Result 2025 Date Update: Board to Announce Class 10 and 12 Results Soon – Key Details Here

KKN Gurugram Desk | As the academic session comes to a close, over 44 lakh students across India eagerly await the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exam Results 2025. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the result declaration date and time very soon.

When Will CBSE Declare Class 10 and Class 12 Results 2025?

Though the CBSE has not officially confirmed the exact date and time, multiple reports suggest that the results are likely to be declared in the second or third week of May 2025. Students and parents are advised to regularly monitor CBSE’s official communication channels to avoid misinformation.

 Expected Date Range: May 15 – May 25, 2025
 Timing: Between 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (based on past trends)

Where and How to Check CBSE Result 2025

Once the results are declared, students can check their scores through multiple online and offline channels:

1. Official Websites

2. DigiLocker

  • Results will be auto-fetched to student DigiLocker accounts using Aadhaar-linked credentials.

3. UMANG App

  • Government’s unified platform to check various academic results.

4. SMS Services

  • CBSE will activate SMS result services for areas with limited internet access.

Steps to Check CBSE Board Result 2025 Online

  1. Visit the official website – cbseresults.nic.in

  2. Click on the result link for Class 10 or Class 12

  3. Enter your Roll NumberSchool Number, and Admit Card ID

  4. Click “Submit”

  5. Your result will be displayed on the screen

  6. Download or print the mark sheet for future use

Who Is Eligible to View Results?

The results will be accessible to:

  • Regular students from CBSE-affiliated schools

  • Private candidates who appeared through open registration

  • Re-appearing and compartmental candidates (where applicable)

Marksheet and Passing Criteria

CBSE will issue digital mark sheets and passing certificates via DigiLocker within 24–48 hours of result declaration. Physical certificates will be sent to schools for distribution.

Passing Marks: Minimum 33% in each subject, as well as overall aggregate.
 Grades and CGPA: For Class 10, the traditional Grading System (A1 to E2) will apply; Class 12 will follow a percentage-based evaluation.

For Class 10 Students

  • Choose a stream (Science, Commerce, Arts) based on marks and interests.

  • Explore scholarship options and aptitude tests.

For Class 12 Students

  • Apply for undergraduate programs in universities/colleges.

Rechecking, Revaluation & Compartment Exams

If a student is unsatisfied with their result, CBSE offers these options:

1. Rechecking of Marks

  • Only available for selected subjects.

  • Application window opens 3–5 days post result declaration.

2. Photocopy of Answer Sheet

  • Students can request a scanned copy of their evaluated answer sheet.

3. Revaluation

  • Based on photocopy, students may apply for full revaluation.

4. Compartment Exams

  • For students who fail in one or more subjects.

  • Expected to be held in July 2025.
