KKN Gurugram Desk | As Bihar prepares for the onset of the Southwest Monsoon expected between June 12 and 15, several districts across the state are already witnessing intense pre-monsoon activity. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Patna, heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds and lightning is expected in multiple regions.
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for several districts including the capital city Patna, as well as Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, West Champaran, East Champaran, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, and Kishanganj.
A Yellow Alert indicates the possibility of weather conditions that could impact daily life and urges residents to stay cautious. The IMD warns of:

Wind Speed: Gusts of up to 40 km/h in some districts
Lightning and Thunderstorms: Potential risk to outdoor movement and agriculture
