Sawan’s Second Monday: A Rush of Devotion
Jalabhishek began at midnight. This was at Baba Garib Nath Temple. It happened on Sawan’s second Monday. Lakhs of Kanwariyas started offering water. They have been doing so since night.
A tremendous devotion was seen. This was at Baba Garib Nath’s darbar. It happened on Sawan’s second Monday. Sunny Kumar, a resident of Bithauli, Vaishali district, arrived. He came with his family. He envisioned world welfare. He walked 85 kilometers from Pahleja. He carried 80 liters of water. He reached Baba Garib Nath’s city. He completed this journey in 4 days.
Baba Garib Nath Temple: Bihar’s Deoghar
Muzaffarpur’s Baba Garib Nath Temple is called Bihar’s Deoghar. On this second Monday of Sawan, estimates suggest over 1.5 lakh devotees. This includes Kanwariyas and local Shiv Bhakts. They have performed Jalabhishek on Baba.
Jalabhishek will continue until 2 PM. This will be through Argha at Baba Garib Nath Temple. During this time, Shiv Bhakts can see Baba. They will use LED screens outside the temple.
After 10 PM on Sunday night, Dak Kanwariyas arrived. They had collected water from Pahleja. District administration and Seva Dal members were involved. They served Kanwariyas from the temple. Their service extended along the entire Kanwariya Path.
