Road Accident Near Mirzapur Claims Three Lives of Bihar Pilgrims Returning from Mahakumbh

KKN Gurugram Desk | Prayagraj Mahakumbh, one of the most significant religious gatherings, witnessed a tragic turn for three people from Bihar. While returning from the event, they lost their lives in a severe road accident near Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. The collision between a car and a Scorpio resulted in fatal consequences, leaving several others injured.

Accident Near Mirzapur: A Tragic Incident

A devastating accident took place near Mirzapur when a car and a Scorpio crashed violently. The impact was so intense that three people from Bihar lost their lives on the spot. The victims were identified as Indrajeet Singh, a resident of Pathraura village under Atri police station in Gaya, and his son, Rajeev Kumar. Another person, Krishna Singh, also succumbed to his injuries in the same incident.

Apart from these fatalities, several other passengers in the vehicle sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of some injured individuals is reported to be critical.

Mahakumbh Pilgrimage Ends in Tragedy

The Mahakumbh pilgrimage is considered a sacred journey for millions of devotees. People from different parts of India travel to Prayagraj to participate in this religious event, believing it to be an opportunity to attain spiritual purification. However, for these three individuals from Bihar, the journey ended in an unfortunate accident, leaving their families devastated.

The accident occurred on a busy route near Mirzapur, where vehicles often move at high speeds. According to eyewitnesses, the collision between the two vehicles was so powerful that the car was completely damaged. Local residents and passersby immediately gathered at the spot and informed the police and emergency services.

Rescue teams arrived promptly and began efforts to extricate the injured from the wreckage. The deceased were later identified, and their families were informed about the tragic incident. The police have started an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.

Family and Community in Mourning

The sudden demise of three individuals has left their families in deep sorrow. The residents of Pathraura village are mourning the loss of Indrajeet Singh and his son, Rajeev Kumar. Their tragic deaths have shaken the local community, as both were known for their kind nature and involvement in social activities. Krishna Singh’s family is also struggling to cope with the unexpected loss.

Relatives and villagers have gathered at their homes to offer condolences. The pain of losing loved ones in such an unforeseen tragedy is unbearable for the bereaved families.
