 Commuters:

  • Expect traffic delays, especially in urban centres like Patna and Muzaffarpur.

  • Public transportation may face temporary disruptions.

Precautions Advised by IMD and Disaster Management Authority

  1. Avoid outdoor movement during thunderstorms

  2. Unplug electronic devices during lightning

  3. Do not take shelter under trees or electric poles

  4. Stay updated through official weather apps or KKNLive’s live updates

Social media in Bihar was abuzz this morning with images and videos of rainfall from Gaya, Sitamarhi, and Kishanganj, where roads quickly turned into mini-rivers. Hashtags like #BiharRain, #Monsoon2025, and #WeatherAlert were trending locally on X (formerly Twitter).
